We are now accepting applications for May 2025 enrollment with a priority application deadline of December 9, 2024. Students enrolling in May start their course of study with a residency in Rome, Spannocchia Castle (Tuscany), and Berlin.

Awarded to one graduate each year, The Ted Coons Dissertation Prize was established in 2015 to acknowledge outstanding è���ƽ� dissertations.

The following degrees will be awarded on April 21, 2024 in NYC.

Following an international search process, Simonetta Moro has been named the new President of the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts (è���ƽ�). Dr. Moro succeeds è���ƽ�’s founder, George Smith (2006-2024).

Bruce Glavovic will receive an honorary PhD degree at the 2024 è���ƽ� Commencement Ceremony in New York City

In June 2024, è���ƽ� will participate in the La Biennale di Venezia Biennale Sessions

We're pleased to present this list of è���ƽ� students and alumni participating in academic conferences and events this Spring. In particular, five è���ƽ� students and alumni will participate in the 2024 College Art Association (CAA) Conference in Chicago, IL, from February 14-17.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Matthew Fields is an emerging African American laborer, Artist and Arts Educator.

The Priority Application Deadline for September Enrollment is April 8, 2024

The residency will take place from January 5-11, 2024

Tory Schendel-Vyvoda is the curator of the Evansville African American Museum and director of the Lamasco Microgallery. She earned her bachelor's from Indiana University and master's from Johns Hopkins University.

They will present at the “Critique of Resistance" symposium, November 30 - December 1, 2023.
